Our brief from the client was to consider this development with a sense of place. To amplify and enhance the landscape
with a collection of villas that sit in close proximity to the Grand Hyatt hotel.
We are embracing the uniqueness of Bambolim Beach and the surroundings and have tailored our scheme accordingly.
Our design approach is sympathetic to location with the typical guest in mind.
Externally the residences will reflect the cross-cultural aspects of both Portuguese the local Goan culture.
Laterite and white plaster render will feature externally against a lush green planted garden and terrace.
Internally we are borrowing soft curves and organic elements from the Indo-portugese villas to present clean lines and enhance the sea views.
The balance between relaxing and entertaining will be achieved with sensitively designed cabinetry and social focused areas within the space.
To compliment the base palette and bring detail we are looking to local crafts and materials
such as ethically sourced Capiz Shell for screening and Rotação style lace caning for furniture.
